Undyed alpine wool, carded and woven with a twisted fringe. Made in Asheville by Fluss Textil from fleece bought direct from three farms and washed on site. The colour is the sheep's own, so batches differ.

QCan I machine-wash it? Mine has picked up a smell from the sofa.

AAir it outdoors for a day first — wool sheds smells on its own and that fixes it nine times out of ten. If it still needs washing, hand-wash cool with a wool detergent and dry flat.
